At least 125 stations proposed for Vancouver’s public bike-share system

Vancouver’s proposed public bike-share program is expected to start with at least 125 stations and 1,500 bikes, according to a report going to city council on Tuesday. Stations would be located every 300 to 400 metres in the downtown peninsula. The area covered by the bike-sharing system could extend to Broadway and as far west as Alma Street and as far east as Victoria Drive, the report said.
